Summary:

House of Blues — a division of Live Nation Entertainment — operates a network of iconic live music venues dedicated to celebrating the history and culture of American roots music, from blues to hip-hop, rock to reggae. Founded in 1992 and now spanning 11 locations nationwide, the brand carries enormous cultural weight and an equally demanding creative output requirement.

Working within House of Blues Digital, I translated stakeholder and client visions into compelling digital designs and coordinated campaigns — concert promotions, event graphics, social content, and web assets — that reinforced the brand's raw, juke-joint energy while driving measurable audience engagement.

Design & Strategy:

Every show at House of Blues begins with a creative brief that must turn around fast — often in days. The volume of work was constant and the standard consistently high. I worked across the full spectrum of digital deliverables:

  • Event and concert promotional graphics
  • Digital display ad creative
  • Social media campaign assets (including animated stories)
  • Web banners and landing page components
  • Campaign concept development and stakeholder presentations

Each project demanded balancing brand consistency with the individual character of the act or event being promoted — translating the visceral energy of live music into digital formats that moved fans from screen to venue.

CAMPAIGNS

Engagement-Driven Creative

Summary:

Beyond individual asset creation, the work involved developing campaign strategies that coordinated creative across channels simultaneously. From teaser sequences that built anticipation before a show announcement, to integrated multi-platform launches, the goal was always the same: put the right creative in front of the right fan at the right moment, and convert that interest into a ticket sale or table booking.
