Local businesses provide the cultural and the economic backbone for our communities.

This map displays only small businesses, and is searchable by POC-, women-, LGBTQ-, and veteran-owned tags so users can drill down to particular groups they want to support.

In my research I found most small local businesses are able to create a website, but need help building community and driving traffic.

In my business I am able to do that on a one-on-one basis, but budgets are tight all around, and a bigger initiative is needed in order to move the needle.

This initiative I’ve undertaken is a work in progress. I’m currently working to fund continued data optimization and promotion for this online tool.
